In 2015, China's agricultural imports accounted for 9.5 percent of global imports, 21.3 percent of energy and mineral products, 64.4 percent of manufactured goods, and other 4.8 percent. Among the major exporting countries and regions, the United States accounted for 18 percent of China's total exports, the European Union 15.6 percent, Hong Kong 14.6 percent, Japan 6.0 percent, and other countries and regions 45.8 percent. In 2015, China's exports of non-agricultural products reached us $2229.3 billion, down 3% year on year. Imports were $1,492.5 billion, down 15% from a year earlier.
